When Emergency Reporting (ER) was launched in 2003, many of our first customers were in California. Since then ER has grown to over 140 departments in California and over 6,500 worldwide. ER is a proud supporter of the California State Firefighters Association (CSFA) and is pleased to be featured in a corporate profile in the May/June issue of their publication, California Fire Service Magazine.

The article is a three-page corporate profile that takes an in-depth look into the history, culture, and current operations of ER. It describes how ER got started, from the early days (when the co-founders were manning trade show booths while at the same time offering customer support on their cell phones), to the present – with the company now employing 86 people to provide cloud-based records management solutions to thousands of fire departments.

In the article, ER’s Chief Revenue Officer and co-founder, Dave Adams, discusses the growth of the company.

“At the outset I did not envision us being this big. When we started, we were adding maybe 10 fire departments a month, and that was good. Now sometimes we add 70, 80 or 100. We are a good-sized organization, and there is still a lot of growth potential.” -Dave Adams, ER Chief Revenue Officer and co-founder

The article also touches on ER’s current product offerings and investigates the future of the company.

“Although domestic growth is certainly steady, opportunities abroad are also being capitalized upon.” “What we are finding is that the data collection requirements abroad are different, and often less detailed than those required in the United States, so it is an easier task to meet those requirements.” -David Nokes, CEO Emergency Reporting

The article is a great read on how Emergency Reporting has grown over the years and, as the writer puts it, “Emergency Reporting displays all of the metrics of a home-grown American success story.”
